"I cannot recommend Lucy's Yoga sessions for children enough. The children have absolutely loved the sessions and have even started to bring their own yoga mats, blankets and pillows! The Yoga sessions have really supported the emotional well-being of the children that have taken part. "I was induced so it made labour very quick so I didn't have time to think too much, but I remembered the breathing techniques and remained calm and focused. "I have attended Lucy's Power Yoga classes both in the UK and Dubai and enjoyed them very much. She is an excellent teacher and it is obvious that she enjoys teaching and helping her students master the poses. However, because I am not local to Dubai or Newmarket it was difficult for me to attend her classes on a regular basis. You can imagine how pleased and happy I was when she produced her DVD. Perfect! Lucy explains every pose to you and it is easy to follow and even if you were new to Power Yoga you would have no problem following it. On the other hand, if you are an experienced yogi you would still find it very challenging. I still attend her classes when I can but in the meantime the DVD is a very good substitute! "I am new to Power Yoga. A friend introduced me about three months ago, now I have the yoga bug! I find yoga has really worked for me and after each session I feel energised and really good. I recently bought Lucy's DVD to use at home. At first it felt a bit strange but I now use it twice a week as well as going to a session once a week to. I found the DVD easy to use and well planned out, it is challenging and you have different levels in each position to help you find your own limits. The work out is suitable for everyone no matter what level you are and runs at a good pace and is easy to follow. "Since I started my program with Lucy my weight has dropped to a very good weight, and also levelled out, all my life it has gone up and down erratically. I am now never hungry and feel so much better, fitter and full of life. My Program was designed with my personal goals in mind which was: short term 10k, mid term Half Marathon, long term London Marathon. I have currently just ran my first 10k in a respectable 48 minutes, finishing 89th out of 408 runners! I have had a few issues to deal with in getting this far, my motivation was so low and I never actually believed I could do it, but Lucy turned it around for me. "Between 2007-2009 I suffered from a serious illness and although I fully recovered from this I could not reach the level of fitness I had enjoyed prior to being ill. Each time I tried I got knocked back by injury which eventually resulted in low self esteem, weight gain and lack of confidence. Lucy built me a gentle exercise programme, increasing the frequency, intensity and duration each week. By my Week 5 Assessment I had doubled my fitness level and lost 4 kgs in weight! I learnt the importance of warm ups and cool downs before and after exercise and have remained injury free. I am now well on my way to achieving my long term goal of participating in a 10K Charity Run.
