For babies 6 weeks (10 weeks for c-section births) to 7 months (approx. only).
After the birth of your baby you will find you will need yoga more than ever to help give you strength, support, healing and time for you. These classes consist of gentle yoga poses for you and your baby, helping to increase confidence and deepen the bond with your baby.
The poses help to encourage your baby's development, fine motor skills, improve sleep, relieve colic, wind, improving sensory awareness and coordination and helping to build trust. You will also learn massage and reflexology techniques to use on your baby. Massage releases tension within the muscles and deepens bond between mother and baby. Also Useful for colic and digestive upsets and promotes calm and regulate sleep cycles.
For mothers, it will provide a safe haven, time to be around like-minded mums in a non-judgemental environment, a chance to share and discuss their experiences, worries or concerns. Helping to ease postnatal depression, helping you to gain strength, stamina, confidence and time for you to be you and time for you to relax.

Please remember to bring a blanket for your baby and a blanket for yourselves for the final relaxation and your babies favourite toy. Please also feel free to bring a sling if you have one if your baby wishes to sleep yet still allowing him/her to be close to you while you are able to practice some yoga.
