A nurturing and inspiring group for parents / carers and children up to 5 years.
A playful, peaceful, imaginative group drawing on Rudolph Steiner’s understanding of child development. We aim to create an environment that is respectful of the needs of young children and their parents.
On arrival, children have a period of free play, while parents can choose to settle on a seasonal craft activity at the table. We share the task of tidying away, singing the tidy song, before making a circle in the bird room. We enjoy seasonal and festive songs, rhymes and simple games, followed by a hand-washing song, sung individually to each child (they love this!)
We have a light bring & share meal around a shared table, beginning by lighting a candles and singing a thank you song for our food, and celebrate children's birthdays by lighting a special candle in the birthday ring, and singing happy birthday. After eating, we share the task of clearing the table, and children help sweep the floor with child size brooms, before congregating in the butterfly garden. We go outside in all weathers, and bring appropriate clothing to fully enjoy it! In wet weather there are muddy puddles a-plenty!
It's a short walk (or toddle) to the woodland clearing, where the children sit for a seasonal story and our goodbye song. Many parents choose not to rush away afterwards, and enjoy more time together in the beautiful limewoods. (www.lincolnshirewaldorfgroup.co.uk)

Standard subs - paid in advance - £7/session per family.
Monthly standing order - £19.50/month (this works out at £6/session over the course of a year).
Early bird (pay before the end of the previous term) - £6/session per family..
A drop-in rate may be available at the leader's discretion.
